Where are you at in the world these days?
I’m currently in Berlin, but I’m from London.
How did you get into mobile advertising?
Was online marketing manager at hungryhouse (formerly Delivery Hero owned) then moved to DH as a global mobile marketing manager. I was advised by my former boss to go with mobile marketing because he thought it was kind of up and coming. And I went for it. Yeah, I really liked it.
What is your favorite area of mobile marketing?
Tracking, programmatic, fighting fraud!
What would you consider to be your marketing specialty?
Identifying and combating fraud within the industry and accurately tracking campaigns.
What are the biggest challenges you currently face apart from covid19?
What are your essential tools and resources?
Strong mobile measurement partner, accurate retargeting campaigns, good partner networks.
What do you think are the key future trends in the mobile industry?
CPM programmatic campaigns, potential for Android apps to be integrated within browser as cached mobile web, challenges in getting enough data for comprehensive user funnels if iOS14 sets a trend so mobile campaigns will be more broad than specific.
